BOOTH BOARDING HOUSE
|
Whitsunday Anglican School offers five (5) day boarding, with students returning to the School on Sunday evenings, and leaving between 3.30 and 5.00pm on Friday afternoons. The Head of Boarding and other Resident Staff are responsible to the Principal for the day-to-day operations of the House. The 5-day arrangement allows students to complete all or most of their homework/projects/study at the School, under the close supervision of staff, and in the comfort of the School's large Resource Centre. Booth House is located adjacent to the School's classrooms at the eastern end of the School, and accessible via Celeber Drive. The complex incorporates two main boarding sections; a building with 24 single, air conditioned rooms for older students and two ensuite rooms for Resident Staff, as well as a building which accommodates up to 13 girls and 13 boys, with both shared and separate rooms. The dining room and kitchen facilities are connected to the main School.
